ky Ark is the oldest currently running nonprofit organization providing the venue to give free air transportation and airlift services to IRS approved rescue groups, zoos and sanctuaries needing to transport animals over long distances in the United States. We also provide transports during disasters and desperate crisis situations to the animal and humanitarian community. Sky Ark is an animal/wildlife and humanitarian organization that excels in arranging and providing air transportation and support. Unlike other groups that use private aircraft that in most cases do not meet goverment standards for transporting animals and their pilots are not trained to handle animals to USDA standards. All our aircraft and pilots are trained to handle animals to these standards.
