- SkyFunder is a crowdfunding platform focused on helping everyone that is need of funding. The guidelines below explain our mission, focus and goals. Please note that any project that violates these guidelines may be declined or removed at SkyFunder's option. Please contact us if you have any questions.
- Funding Projects. SkyFunder is for the funding of projects; these may include medical or dental bills or educational opportunities. Like other crowdfunding sites we allow funding for? albums, films or specific works that have clearly defined goal and expectations.
- Projects with a creative purpose. SkyFunder can be used to fund projects from the creative fields, including visual arts, dance, fashion, film, music, games, publishing, theater and technology.
- Projects for causes and charities. SkyFunder allows the funding of projects to help raise money for non-profits, charities and Churches, funding an awareness campaign or funding a scholarship.
- Projects for individuals and families. Examples include projects to pay tuition or bills, go on a "do-gooder" vacation, missionary work, pay medical or dental bills, weddings or any other project or cause that you feel needs funding. SkyFunder does reserve the right to decline any project for any reason.
- Projects for political fundraising and activism. SkyFunder allows the funding of projects to generate money for political candidate or issues campaigns and activism. The project poster is responsible for submitting all the filings required by local, state or federal regulations.
- Rewards, not financial incentives. The SkyFunder crowdfunding site is based on the offering of rewards – letters of "thank you," in-kind labor, copies of the work, limited editions, fun experiences. The offering of financial incentives, such as ownership, financial returns (for example, a share of profits), or repayment (loans) is prohibited by SkyFunder and most Federal, State and some local laws.
- Market your project, but no spamming. Do not spam your project on sites like Twitter with unsolicited @ message or use a bulk mailing service. This type of behavior makes you and SkyFunder look bad.
- Prohibited Projects. SkyFunder is a family-friendly crowdfunding site. Don't post obscene, nude, hateful or objectionable content. If you do, it will be promptly removed and you will be banned from posting any other projects. There are plenty of other crowfunding sites that do allow these types of projects; it won't hurt our feelings if you post your projects on those sites and not ours.
- Copyrighted content permission. Please do not post content that you do not own or have a right to use. If you do, your project will be removed and you may be banned from posting other projects.
- Family-friendly focus. SkyFunder insists on maintaining a family-friendly environment, and we hope your experience with us is positive. Please follow these guidelines and our Terms and Conditions while using our website.
